Think Ahead is a Swiss Made high-jewellery watch born from the collaboration between Sarcar and Bahati Project. Crafted in 18K white gold, its extraordinary dial brings together watchmaking, micropainting and symbolic art, transforming the passage of time into an invitation to look beyond the present.
At the centre of the dial lies an Adinkra symbol rooted in Akan culture, chosen to express the idea of thinking ahead. More than an ornamental motif, it gives the watch its identity: a symbol of foresight, reflection and the intelligence required to imagine what comes next.
A Dial Told by Hand
The dial becomes a miniature canvas through an intricate combination of gold and micropainting. Deep blue, burgundy, white, black and gold form a highly detailed geometric composition inspired by traditional visual language, while the central engraved symbol anchors the design with a powerful sense of meaning.
Four prominent diamonds are positioned around the dial, introducing Sarcar’s signature Art of Motion into the composition. Free to move with the gestures of the wrist, they continuously alter the appearance of the watch, creating an unexpected dialogue between ancestral symbolism and kinetic watchmaking.
The elaborate dial is framed by an 18K white gold case, further illuminated by diamond setting across the bezel and lugs. Measuring 40 mm in diameter and 11.20 mm in thickness, the case gives the complex artwork generous presence while sapphire crystal protects the composition beneath.
Inside, the Frédéric Piguet 615 automatic movement brings Swiss mechanical precision to a watch conceived as much as an artistic object as a timepiece. Think Ahead unites cultural symbolism, fine jewellery and mechanical watchmaking in a creation whose message extends beyond time itself: the future begins with the way we think today.
